High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) – Classes

• Classes are held at Hanwell Village Hall every Friday and cost just £4
• Pay for 5 in advance – £17.50
• Pay for 10 in advance – £30
• Classes run for 30 minutes from 6.30-7pm
• If you haven’t attended before, you will be required to fill in a short health and fitness questionnaire, so please arrive 10 minutes before start time

If you’re unfamiliar with the term HIIT, it stands for high intensity interval training, which combines short bursts of intense exercise at maximal effort and minimal rests, to burn tonnes of calories and increase the bodies metabolic rate. Increasing the metabolic rate means the body continues to burn those calories for up to 24 hours after the workout.

As this style workout is so intense, the class is only 30 minutes long, making it an effective workout to get a fantastic burn in such a short space of time. Using compound, bodyweight exercises with as many muscle groups as possible, pushes the limits, increases fitness levels and leaves you satisfied that you’ve pushed your body to the max. In just 30 minutes, that is why HIIT workouts are becoming very popular, meaning you spend less time working out and more time enjoying life!

As our HIIT classes run early every Friday evening, it’s the perfect way to end the week and start your weekend. All you need to do is commit, come along, push your boundaries and just 30 minutes later walk out feeling satisfied with your final workout of the week.
