Running Club with

Running is one of the best forms of exercise. Not only is it great for gaining fitness, losing weight, toning up and much more, it can also be a very enjoyable and social event. Most people believe that the harder you push yourself, the more fat you burn and the more weight you will lose. In actual fact keeping your heart rate at the right threshold is the key to burning fat and losing excess weight and this doesn't mean pushing yourself to limits, it is a lot less strenuous than that. A light jog is enough to keep your heart rate at the desired level for optimum weight loss and gaining a good level of fitness.
Join our Running Club Facebook group to keep up to date with each session. Sessions usually run on a Monday but times and place change depending on weather and time of year(daylight!).
At Flexercise's running club we run in a group at a level at which having a chat is not out of the question. Each week a different running session is prepared, from interval runs to a basic 30 minute long slow duration (LSD). This keeps each individual on their toes and changing their routine, so a plateau in fitness levels or not achieving your goals doesn't occur.
